The best short film I've seen in years...

I'm still sick. Vaguely. I have diseased lungs, but thanks to where I work, all I had to do today was mention to my boss, "I keep toying with the idea of trying to go somewhere and get some antibiotics, just in case this is a bacterial thing," and he wrote a prescription for me. I love my job. I really do. Not that the antibiotics were all too cheap, but they were certainly cheaper than having to pay for a doctor's appointment to get them.

So maybe no coughing soon.

But more importantly: I HAVE JUST WITNESSED THE BEST SHORT FILM OF MY LIFE.

The cinematography and set are better than the last fifty movies I've seen in the theater, and the acting is absolutely perfect. It's a dark fairy tale style story told like the scariest dream I've ever had. Seriously, it caught me off guard. I thought it might be cute or vaguely twisted, but I did not expect something genuinely disturbing. And this is.

It's so damned good.

It's so damned good that I had to write about it, which is crazy, because, well... blogging. You already know how I feel about blogging.

So please enjoy The Cat With Hands. It's under four minutes, found by my pal Isaac, and if you and I are friends at all, you will like it. This is the inside of my head, and someone put it to film.
